Be more helpful.

There are a lot of ways in which you can help other people.

You can give them knowledge, share your experience with them, give them food or money, or just simply be polite to them.

There are also a lot of ways you can be very unhelpful.

You can ignore their questions when they're asking for help, you can insult them or their work, you can chose to not share your knowledge, experience, food or money. You can also chose to not be polite. The list goes on.

But what's worst than someone who's unhelpful? It's someone who is privileged and unhelpful, and if you're in technology, you're amongst some of the most privileged people in the world.

If you're in a privileged position you should bending over backwards to help elevate anyone and everyone around you. You started off knowing nothing and now you know enough to be in the top 5% of earners on the planet.

Start being over backwards to put other people in the same position.

Your default attitude in life should be doing whatever you can to bring other people up to the same level of privilege as you, even if they over take and rocket past you. It doesn't matter. Do it anyway.

Changing the world requires changing people's life for the better because someone did that before you by building roads, paying taxes and passing down knowledge (even if they charged for it.)

The goal is enlightenment for everyone, not just you and your lot.
